Wimbledon businesswomen celebrated at Number 10
Two esteemed businesswomen from Wimbledon Village, boasting over 50 years of combined experience, have recently been recognised for their outstanding contributions. These remarkable women were invited to attend exclusive receptions at 10 Downing Street.
Nicky Green, renowned as the first-ever landlady for Young's Pubs, has been a dedicated fixture at the Rose & Crown for two decades. She attended a reception hosted by the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, the Rt Hon Laura Trott MBE MP. Reflecting on her experience, Nicky shared, "I was thrilled to be nominated by Danielle to attend No.10 recently and meet so many inspiring women across various sectors. It was an incredible opportunity, and I hope others also get the chance to experience it."
Thanyarat 'Nicky' Santichatsak, the proud owner of the beloved Thai Tho restaurant, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, was invited to an event with the Minister for Faith, Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE. Expressing her gratitude, Thanyarat said, "It was an honour to be invited and attend a reception at No.10. Thank you to Danielle and to all our loyal customers for your continued support. This recognition means so much to us."
